Freethe

This installation from 2002 was produced following three months of research at the Center for the Study of Political Graphics in Los Angeles. Six digital images describe well-known posters (e.g. “Silence=Death”) while a soft voice speaks hundreds of slogans compiled from the collection through a bullhorn.

8×10 feet, 3 walls, 6 mounted digital prints resting on shelves, and one bullhorn.
